The aim of the International Scientific Week “Sustainable Development and Green Economy” is to ensure the implementation of a number of important tasks stated at the United Nations General Assembly Resolution No. 70 of the Sustainable Development Summit of September 2015, organizing systematic work for implementation of the goals and objectives of sustainable development in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic Uzbekistan No. 841 dated October 20, 2018 “On measures to implement national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development until 2030”, widespread celebration in Uzbekistan “2025 - Year of Environmental Protection and the 'Green' Economy", as well as the organization of international events aimed at increasing students’ interest in technical fields, popularizing basic sciences and developing international cooperation in scientific research activities in the field of green chemistry, biology and chemical technology.
